On a bit of a colouring buzz this weekend, decided to turn the "dennis the menace on steriods" pic into a mock cover. Done most the shading in a new way, loads of different layers and using the smudge tool to blend them together.

Late night inspiration!

So i was doing the sensible thing of not drinking last night, and was sitting drawing to the late wee hours. Ive been working on A5 pages recently just to see if i can an anyway half decent page in a shorter time. Im not sure were the idea for this page came from, its a bit scrappy cause I was trying to do it quickly, but let me what yous think.

A question.

Ive missed all the meetings because of show rehearsals, so i was wondering if anyone could clue a brother in on whats going on innit.

Finally colour

You know how it is on a saturday when you get that random character idea, like what if sheba from mortal kombat got it on with a cylon, well here it is..., and i actually managed to colour this one, not too sure about colouring yet so if anybody got any suggestions let me know.

the plan-phase 1

I wanted to put this up here to let yous know that for next week each person who is contributing a story should have it ready in script format, so that we can go through them together. If this isn't possible please have at least an overview. For any of the artists who do not wish to write either danny or bobby will sort something out for you. We hope as a group to be able to pull a continous thread though each story to make the complete work appear as an individual story comprised of short stories rather than a straight forward anthology. If anybody happens to have their scripts done already or before thursday, or any questions in general, email them to me or the 2dcollective@gmail.com

New DA addition

Here's my latest creation, uploaded on DeviantArt this afternoon - and my first try at proper fantasy art.

I'm taking the opportunity to advertise my Deviantart gallery (http://minamzi.deviantart.com) as well as my own website where you will find the same pics (www.minamzi.com).

By the way, is anyone else here on Deviantart ? I promise to friend you if you are.

The Warp Spasm

I've been reading into the cuchuliann stories and i found out he had this bersurka attack thing, whered he'd hulk out and his knees and elbows would come to the front and his eye would pop out, madness! This was obvisously well recorded by drunken irishmen!! But anyway I had to have an attempt at sketching the transformation.

Welcome to the 2d Collective blog

We, the 2d collective are a group of artists and writers based in Derry. In conjunction with the Verbal Arts Centre we have just published an anthology of short stories based on the theme of "Fear".

"Fear" was released on the second day of the Northern Ireland 2d Festival which annually hosts many big names involved in the graphics and comic industry.

This is not a one time publication. The people behind it are intent on showcasing their work to a larger audience, and welcome criticism and thoughts on the works displayed on this blog.

Any and all enthusiasts are welcome to submit pieces for consideration to be included on the showcase.
